Apartments I have lived at in the past have always had friendly staff members until you have signed your lease. The staff at The Shires has always remained friendly, trusting, and understanding while still maintaining the needs of the complex as a whole. This gives me the ability to feel comfortable living here and not like I am being babysat in my own living space. I appreciate the staff and the things they do like halloween costume contests or sending out greetings for the holidays. It makes it seem like are more than just a complex. It is more like a community.

Would not because it feels like the Shires has gone downhill. There is always trash everywhere. Disrespectful tenants.

There are a lot of residents I would NOT describe as friendly/cordial. Waves and hellos get disregarded. I don't think The Shires is a bad deal, but there's nothing special about it these days. I've had a lot of neighbors over the 7+ years, and the overall quality (ie, clean, quiet, not causing problems) of tenants has dropped noticeably.

This is a clean and quiet gated community in Northeast Fresno. Close to shops and restaurants this is a terrific location. Apartment are spacious, come with plenty of storage, full size washer/dryer units and large patio/balconies. This community is pet friendly and staff is professional and accommodating.

need to maintain the gym hand soap , equipment etc. Water bill is up every month so the shires as a whole is using more water but its not clear why , wasted it was a one time charge but conserve says no, its based on the total water used at the shires, why is the shires using more water/?
