Unfortunately there isn't a differential factor provided by this apartment compared to the others in the area. If someone needs a place to live in general it checks that box.

I do not feel safe here, and for what I'm paying I'd rather go live in any of the other luxary apartments in this area.

I would tell people the building and staff are great but again the area itself doesn't feel great and I'm not sure if I'm planning to stay after my lease expires because of that.

As noted above, security is a big problem at this property. I understand this is Oakland, but why are parking fees so high if you can’t help secure the building?

I have already recommended someone and they signed a lease. It’s a great location and the amenities are great. The custodial staff, Nelson, is also an incredibly friendly and helpful person.

Location is good but I think that there are better deals for the price

Communications with office staff often goes ignore or days without response after follow ups. Maintenance/service is often slow as well. But overall nice people and fine when I find them in the office, Just wish communications was better and answered in a timely manner.

Very luxurious living experience.

Its expensive for what you get. Does are constantly broken (the one from 1st floor garage to the mail/ elevator room). Trash was poorly thought out - it is constantly overflowing as its sized to small for the number of residents. I don't think many people use the amenities. I don't. For me, parking space was the most useful.

horrible service when I put in a maintenance request nobody comes for weeks on end...

As mentioned before, other buildings offer more for the same price. Parking is insanely expensive. Security is not good. The main doors are not heavy enough to close and lock on their own. Sometimes even when I pull it shut it won’t lock.

It's definitely a bit expensive, but the location near the park and lake, as well as the overall cleanliness and maintenance on the building make it worthwhile.
