San Marcos has nice, spacious apartments that are updated and comfortable. Each unit comes with a garage (extra parking at a cost). There is a pool, spa, gym, and nice grounds. The complex is conveniently located near a mall, 580 and 80 freeways. However, the community does not evoke the feeling of home. There are many issues with parking, noisy neighbors, and more recently, a lack of responsiveness to maintenance issues and grounds maintenance. The management team has traditionally endured lots of turn-over, however they seem to be on the verge of stability in the past four months. There are still some issues of consistency in communication with tenants, completing service requests, and maintaining an affordable place for people to live.

This place is nice, but for a temporary time.
