Apartments are attractive on outside and a convenient location with many stores and restaurants nearby. However, I have experienced numerous maintenance issues (leaky faucets, leaky pipes under sink, broken toilets); all are due to the age and low quality of the fixtures used. It has taken numerous calls, emails and conversations with the property manager before maintenance showed up. Appliances are old, poorly functioning and not energy efficient, resulting in unexpectedly high utility bills. Cockroach problems and external property maintenance issues such as lighting and security gates were not addressed in a timely fashion. Overall perception is that comfort and safety of current residents are low priority vs. gaining new tenants.
