AC units are about 22 years old and were the least efficient models available for purchase back then. Maintenance staff can't seem to fix anything right the first time. There is no insulation between floors (maintenance guys have referred to the space between floors as echo chambers) so you hear your upstairs neighbors walking let alone any louder noises. You can sometimes hear your neighbors' actual conversations from the bathroom. There is no sprinkler system so grass turns brown several times a year with lack of rain. Not so pretty then.
