This is a fully gated community for residents 55 and older. Apartments are specious and come with all appliances, washer/dryer units, many have patios and/or balconies and each unit comes with a parking space. Amenities include shaded courtyards with seating areas and a lovely clubhouse. Staff is friendly and professional.

I only have 2 negatives about this apartment community. The first would be the problem with pigeons. They are nesting right above my apartment, and make very annoying sounds and are very dirty birds. I love birds, but despise pigeons. I have mentioned it on numerous occasions, but never get a good response. It would be an easy fix, but will never get taken care of. The second thing would be pet rent. That is just ridiculous. It's one thing to charge a big deposit for a pet, but then to charge an additional amount per month, just ridiculous. This is a senior community, and lots of seniors are single and would love the companion of a pet. With rent already being expensive, to pay an additional amount, most people can't afford it. I don't have a pet, but would love to get one, but can't afford the additional rent.

The community was quiet and had a nice garden patio area. There looked to be nice common areas. The leasing professional made me feel welcomed.

This community was clean and comfortable. The staff was helpful, personable, and caring. The amenities were basic but appealing and enough for anyone wanting a simple and safe place to live.

Villa Sorrento is a beautifully kept three story community for seniors. It is located near a freeway but the dual pane windows block out a lot of the road noise. The community is equipped with elevators and handicap access rooms. The apartments provide walk-in closets and pantries. The on-site manager is friendly and professional. The lounge is furnished nicely with a kitchen and TV room. There is a very small gym. The rates were very reasonable, however there is a wait list.

Poor insulation between the floors. I have lived with neighbors overhead in Las Vegas and rarely heard them. Definitely not here. I am very disappointed with my living conditions. It is elder abuse.

This was a lovely community for folks 55 years of age or older. With only 35 apartments, the community was quaint and beautifully maintained. It was also a secured access community and was fully gated 24 hours a day. There was a small fitness center, clubhouse with kitchen, outdoor seating areas and covered parking available for the resident's use. Apartments were spacious with plenty of storage and some with ceiling fans, granite counters and full size stackable washer/dryers. This community was also pet friendly. Just off Freeway 168 and within walking distance to Old Town Clovis, this was a terrific location for the mature adult looking for the right place to call home.

This apartment complex is very safe, at least I feel safe here, living on the third floor. Most seniors worry about their safety. Even though the complex is gated, I do believe the wrong people can enter, but for the most part, because it is a senior community, that generally doesn't happen.
