The community was undergoing renovations. The model was very nice and well decorated. The community was clean and well maintained. I would like to return to see the new barbecue/picnic area after it is completed.

It was a very nice community. The apartment looked newly updated and so did the gym. The grounds were professionally manicured and I liked the fact that they would be installing gas grills in a few weeks for residents.
Horrible do not move in!!
Hi I am currently moving into vista ridge and we have had nothing but problems with. They changed our move in date twice and twice we had to tell the moving van to change days costing us money each time. They also have advertised move-in by the 30th to get two weeks free. However they always need to fix things and renivate so how can you move in that fast? The staff is horribly unprofessional just as everyone states. Each time I talk to a staff member they act like they are better then you, talk over you and then as soon as they are done they act sweet and nice and walk away like they actually helped you do something. I just moved in and I can't wait for my lease to be up. Also have not seen my renters agreement even though I keep asking for a copy of it. very shady place! do not move in!

Horribly unprofessional management
The apartment itself is nice, which is expected since the rent isn't cheap. Overall the management is completely unprofessional and its a huge turn off. We are rule abiding tenets and feel overruled by trashy neighbors who think they own the place. Won't be disappointed once our lease is up.

This community had a really beautiful model apartment and had I been in the market, I would have leased at this community. The leasing professional was great.
Stay Away!
Moved into these apartments in 2015. Was told that they were formerly Section 8 but were transformed into regular rental units. However, many of the tenants still appear to be Section 8. Also, bedrooms are very small and walls are paper-thin. I can hear my neighbors speaking and their yappy dog. Moving out soon!

misleading
When I moved here my kids and I were so excited. Until I was late one time on rent. They slapped me with a $25 late fee witch was fine but then they tacked on lawyer fees of $750. They don't give you a brake. Since that one late payment, I've been having trouble keeping up. This is or was a income base apartment. Now that I'm all caught up. They don't want to renew my lease. I've only been here 5 months. My lease is up in March. I have to be out of here by March 3. I thought this was finally going to be a place that my children would be able to call home with no more worries. Did I mention, I'm disabled and I have a child who is also on disability she has Aspergers (a form of Autism ). I'm sorry I ever spent my little bit of money to move in here for just 6 months. I feel like I just threw away money. Now I have no money to move. After playing catch up with the rent and all their crazy fees. Please if you move here pay your rent. And for those who are thinking about moving here think long and hard. I don't recommend these apartments to anyone.

It is unfortunate that you were unable to pay the rent on time so soon after move in, however please consider that it is Management' s duty to follow the terms of the lease equally for all residents; unfortunately legal action is necessarry after the timeframe to pay rent as it is established in the lease.
Something is Weird
All the posts that are on here were posted before this place existed. I have been over there and as of now that place is upside down. I advise people to go and ask neighbors before leasing from them.
I lived there for 13 years. Â Place has gone downhill! Â So glad I got out before it changed hands again. Â Staff less all the time!Â

Management/maintenance staff changes hands constantly. Staff not truthful with tenants. Wouldn't allow Christmas decorations & the rules change constantly w. No notice. Poor snow removal. Gave 3 months notice of moving- left apartment perfect. Kept security anyway.

With the goal of providing good housing that all our residents can call home, the need of change in rules and regulations arises; at the same time the physical aspects of the community are also renewed, such as the recent upgrades inside the apartments, lansdcaping, fitnes center and more. The apartment community was nice and clean. One thing I did not like that much was that I am responsible for bringing my own trash to the dumpster. But I guess that is one way of keeping the costs down. The price was very reasonable based on the overall value you get.

This was a community where the price was very favorable to the resident. This community was located in a very desirable section of Long Island. It was also elevated and offered a unique view of the Island. The community contained everything a person could be looking for such as spacious apartments, pool, fitness center, walking trails. I would highly recommend this community to anyone looking for a great place to live.

I liked the pool, it was in a sunny location, the common area was nice, the grounds well maintained. It was very average. The only thing was that the gym smelled like stale tobacco.

I personally think people looking for a nice community and fit within the guideline of this community will find that they will get more than they would expect from this community. It is a very pretty community, very well maintained and has a lot to offer. They seem to fill up quickly so if you are interested jump on their waiting list.

This community was easy to find. The parking lot and entrance area, signage and welcome center were clean and well maintained. The customer service I received was alright, but a rapport was not built. There were no available apartment homes at this time, so the visit was very short with little information given.

Although it was very difficult to put ratings on some of the options, I would still lease from this community. The consultant was outstanding and full of energy. The grounds that I did see were immaculate and very well maintained. The fact that they had a closed, five month waiting list made me feel no one wanted to leave.
